Nadia looks in the mirror, she does not like what she is looking at. Nadia looks at her bank statement, she is not content with her salary (Knowing she makes better than the average 28 year old). Nadia looks out her window and sees her neighbor rocking a model's body while taking her morning run; Nadia feels envious and shuts her blinds. Nadia decides to call her friend Sophie, Sophie picks up and starts complaining about every aspect of her life. Nadia regrets making that call and feels worse than she did before making it!
How much negative energy did you get from reading the previous six lines? A LOT I guess... Well, in order for Nadia to get out of that negative rut, she needs a 180 degree switch of attitude towards herself and her life. Here are some tips for all you Nadia(s) out there which will hopefully help you improve your confidence and attitude towards yourself and your life : 1 - Think positively and be an optimist. Don't look at the negative side of things; If you have a curvy body, embrace it, many women would kill to have it. If you are not satisfied with your more than average salary; be thankful for it cause there are many women out there whom did not get an opportunity to get a decent education to find a proper job like yours. 2 - Love yourself. Think about all the accomplishments you have done in your life. Think of all the people that you have positively influenced. Think of all the positive feelings you have provided for your loved ones and praise yourself. You deserve it. 3 - Look at yourself in the mirror and love what you see. You are unique, there is no one else in this world that looks like you. You are the only person in the world that has your qualities. How special is that? Look at the mirror and smile, let your beauty shine from within and tell yourself :" I am unique, beautiful and I am one of a kind... I am Me." 4 - Pamper and spoil yourself. You deserve it! Light up an invigoratingly scented candle and give yourself a spa day! Make a homemade facial mask and soak the negativity and stress away in a nice hot bath and put on some zen meditation music in the background. 5- Go on a stress free shopping spree. "Stress free" as in do not force yourself to buy a pair of pants that is two sizes smaller than what you actually are just to prove that you can still fit in that size! A woman's body changes over time and it is OKAY for it to change. As long as you are healthy, you are on the safe side. 6- Be thankful to all the blessings you have in your life. What you may be taking for granted in your life could be your neighbor's lifelong achievement goal. Count your blessings everyday and be thankful for them. 7 - Remove any negative influence you have in your life. You do not need to put up with external negativeness. If your friend is unhappy with her life; don't let her drag you down with her. Try to channel you optimism and positivity to the ones that you love starting with yourself. Follow the listed tips starting now and you will see how an instant feeling of content and confidence will spread within your soul, body and mind.
