6 lifesavers for the working mom

Working and taking care of your little one(s) is something many of the mothers worldwide have to juggle every single day. Here are some lifesavers for all you amazing working mothers out there:

1 - A good Day Care

Yes this one is a no brainer. Having someone taking care of your child while you are away at work is obviously essential; whether dropping your baby at your mother's while you are at work or whether it is a daycare center; someone has to be taking care of your precious little one. To choose a proper daycare make sure you do proper research on them. Choose  a place that is conveniently close to work or home, check reviews on them online, pay them a visit to assess their facility and services and make sure of the place's security, because that daycare center will be your child's home away from home.

2 - Pre-Chopped and Washed Veges

Preparing healthy meals for you and your family is something that is extremely important, but that could take up a big chunk of your time. So, next time you go grocery shopping, do yourself the favor of buying pre-chopped and washed veges like mixed greens, broccoli and carrots. It will take you fraction of the time to prepare your meals after work.

3- Invest in a good crockpot

Using a slow cooker (a crockpot) is something that is very useful for working mothers. All you have to do is put your meals ingredients in the crockpot and set it to cook for the next 8 hours; this way you will have a ready meal by the time you come back from work. Crockpots are perfect for stews such as beef and green beans with rice, pasta dishes, Chilli and soups.

4 - A Dishwasher

Having a dishwasher is definitely a lifesaver! All you have to do is rinse the plates, pots and cups and pop them in the dishwasher to load and clean over night! This will save A LOT of time.

5- Disinfecting wipes

Oh my lovely disinfecting wipes! I personally literally use them for everything! You can use them to wipe your kitchen counters, wiping dust, baby spit up, toilets, bath tubs, even on carpet! You can use them for everything! This way you will have a cleaner bacteria free home within minutes!

6 - Baby meal Prep

As soon as your baby starts on solids, meal prepping is something that I believe every working mother should make a use of. Instead of buying pre-prepared jarred baby food, make your baby a healthier food option by making a meal for the next three days (tops!). Steam or boil those veges, chicken or whatever your planning for your baby to have and pop them in the blender and store them in his lidded bowls in the fridge. This way, all you have to do is heat them up and have your baby enjoy healthier food with fraction of the time!
